Right, it’s been about three years now since I’ve done any regular writing. I need to get inspired again (and less lazy), so I’m starting this blog, as well as the daily writing prompts on Instagram/facebook (not so daily right now, but…yeah, life keeps getting in the way). I have a few writing goals to get on with, so I’m hoping I’ll get out of this writing slump and start on one.
First: I want to do my Masters degree, so I want to get back into writing poetry, mainly my fairy tale themed ones. So need to research/read the fairy tales/poetry books I own to get inspired, and scribble any random lines or ideas down.
Second: To rewrite the Fallen Wing anime scripts into novel form. Partly to see if it will be more publishable, and partly for fun. I loved writing the battle scenes for them, and getting to write the emotions involved would be awesome.
Third: I want to remaster my Unheard Melody story. I loved the idea for it, but the writing side wasn’t up to par, and that disheartened me. It’s been locked in a folder for about five years. I think I need to unearth it and take another look.
Those are the current goals, so hopefully I’ll keep writing and posting my progress! Feel free to guilt me if I don’t.
