Fallen Wing
Episode Five: Nevan’s barrier
[Opens to Engon town square at midday. Sun is blazing, people are yellow. Some moving about to fix damage, others just stood looking at platform, lost.]
Narrator: Every action has a consequence. Whether it was meant to or not.
[The sun clouds and rain begins to fall. The people stop, holding their breath as they wait to change. Breathe a sigh of relief as they change to a light blue. Close up side view of a group in the crowd.]
No 1: It’s been two days now and we’re still changing. Maybe he lied? Maybe the hammer didn’t make us this way.
No 2: Fool! Our faith is the only thing sustaining us now. If you start thinking like that, you’ll stop changing and suffer forever more.
No 3: [looking down]: Without our God Marcellus there’s no confessions. [looks up, hysterical]. What do we have now? What hope do we have?
Narrator: Bad actions can cause unexpected benefits. While good intentions can cause grief and despair.
[No 3 close up as he looks up and screams.]
No 3: What do we do now!
[Camera follows sound up to the rainy sky.]
Narrator: Even so, their journey cannot stop now.
[Opening credits.]
[Open to side view of healthy green grass. Foot descends, crunching it, others follow. Go to Nat & co front view, travelling in flat green landscape. All are wearing cloaks to conceal themselves. Fern and Asha are calm, Nat is annoyed and Agape is looking nervously at him. Wolf is close to him, bumping her hand for a stroke.]
Nat: How much further is this stupid town? The way we’re going we’ll be walking in Tempit and save the King a lot of bother.
Fern: Carmina is near to Tempit. If we’d gone there the Anu way it would have taken three weeks. I don’t want this resistance leader to leave before we get there.
Nat: So you’ll risk getting captured [scoffs]. Why the sudden rush to meet the resistance? Aren’t we supposed to be checking the seals and finding Dagan?
[Fern angled side/back view as she stops. Close up of face (in same angle). Change to Asha back view, who is facing/looking at Fern.]
Asha: Having the resistance as an ally would make our task a lot easier. [Turns to Nat, camera follows.] Sometimes socialising is necessary.
[Nat scoffs and looks away. Fern face side view, who remains quiet.]
Nat: What kind of idiot has a resistance right next to Tempit?
Asha: The King has never considered them a threat, and puts minimal effort into attacking them. I imagine they took advantage of this by being as close as possible for when they strike.
[Nat and Asha front view, who have started walking again. Agape tagging nervously behind. Fern in distance, who then slowly begins to move after them.]
Nat: You aren’t one of these people, are you?
Asha [smiles]: No, Aneller is too far away to get involved. I’ve just studied battle tactics. Carmina won’t be the only place they’re based, the other towns nearby will have hideouts too. But their place retreat will be further away, past Leaf Lake.
Nat: These people are dead if the King decides to pay attention to them. Won’t helping us do that?
[Nat looks at Asha as talks. Change to Asha front view, who keeps staring straight ahead and doesn’t answer. Hear Nat ‘tsk’.]
Nat: So you think your mission is more important than theirs? How noble of you, priestess.
[Change to Agape front view (can see Nat’s shoulders in front of him) looking nervously at the two. He then focuses straight ahead, looking shocked.]
Agape: Um.
Nat: Would you stop making those stupid noises? You have a voice box, get over it.
Agape: But…
[Raises finger to point, change to Agape back view to see him pointing at a distant group of soldiers attacking someone. Man on the ground (has a satchel type bag over shoulder), while group kick/punch him, but attacks don’t seem to be connecting. Nat & co front view, watching.]
Nat [sarcastic]: Gee, what a surprise, soldiers near Tempit.
[Fern looks up for first time and squints.]
Fern: Wait, are they beating someone?
Nat: Maybe they’re so busy having fun with that guy they won’t notice us.
[Fern pushes past him and runs off screen. Nat sighs and Asha smiles.]
Asha: It’s Engon all over again.
[Nat glares at her. Change to Fern front view as she runs towards guard group.]
Fern: Get away from him!
[Change to guard group front view as they look up. Man on ground winces and tries to prop himself off his elbows. Guard closest to him frowns and kicks at him, but foot bounces off a barrier. Guard looks back at Fern.]
Guard #1: Stay out of this, girl! This man is in possession of an emblem we know belongs to traitors. If you get involved you won’t be spared.
[Fern front view as see her lower gaze (Nat & co approaching behind her). Change to man view, who’s looking at her puzzled. Focus on his flame necklace. Back to Fern front view, who calmly looks back up and draws her sword. Fern back view. Guard #1 smirks.]
Guard #1: Very well.
[Guard #1 draws sword and attacks Fern. Three of guards go after other group members while one stays near Man. Change to Nat & co front view to see Agape shrink back, Nat glare, not worried, and Asha reach into her cloak, pulling out some of her needle weapons. Fern back view as sword clashes with Guard #1’s. Nat back view as he continues to stand there, the wolf springing at guard #2 for him. Agape back view as he cringes away, see needles hit guard#3 in the neck; falls down dead. Brief Asha front view to see her ready more needles then Asha back view to see throw needles at her own guard#4, striking him in the chest. Nat front view, expressionless face as can hear screams of guard#2 being ripped apart by wolf. Fern/Guard#1 side view to see them parry, then Fern knock his sword away, pointing her own at his throat. Fern front view to see her determined face.]
Man: Look out!
[Fern surprised face, Fern/Guard#1 side view as she jumps back before a blast of fire hits her. Change to brief Fern front view as she lands. Fern back view to see a magician approaching from far right. Guard#1 is running towards him. Magician close up as raises hand (with device on). Farther back front view as fire trail begins. See Man approach from left, stabbing a pole into ground. A sphere shaped barrier forms, blocking the fire’s progress to Fern (excess goes around barrier). Magician close up as he sighs.]
Magician: Can’t you fools do anything right?
[Change to side view as Guard#1 and Guard#5 (one that was guarding Man) reach him.]
Guard#1: But sir, he’s a magic user, and then these rebels-
[Magician close up who raises dismissive hand to silence him. Looks over at Fern & co. magician back view.]
Magician: Focus on the magic user, I’ll deal with the rest.
[Two guards nod and head to the right where Man is. Front view of Man standing, pole readily balanced behind him, looking wearily/cautious at them.]
[Change to Fern front view who moves to help but is forced back when more fire is sent her way (change to back view to see this). Fern front view as she grits teeth and raises hand. Magician front view to see him flinch, then face becomes strained. Man side view to see him whack Guard#1 on head, knocking him out, then block Guard#5’s sword. A small barrier forms and pushes Guard#5 back. Guard#5 is hit with Asha’s needles in the side and cries out, falling. Man looks over at her. Change to Asha front view as she readies and throws needles at magician. Magician front view as needles reach him, a wall of water rises in front of him, causing the needles to stop. Magician grins, see another magician step up behind him, identical in appearance. Fern front view who’s face becomes strained/sweaty. Back to magician front view as wall of water ends.]
Fire Magician [thoughts]: Interesting, I’ve never encountered someone so skilled in mind block techniques.[Fern front view.] Yet she’s so young.
[Back to Fire Magician front view. Water Magician steps closer so side by side.]
Water Magician [thoughts]: Trouble brother? I sense another mind trying to break yours.
[Fire Magician nods at Fern. Water Magician looks at her and snarls. Change to Fern front view who is still concentrating. Fern back view as burst of water rushes towards her. See man jump from left of screen and grab Fern, spinning, making his staff spin with him and form a think cylinder barrier. Change to slightly angled bird’s eye view to see barrier protect them from water as they spin out of its path. Change to Fern/Man side view as they land/fall on the ground. Fire magician front view to see his strained face relax and give a grateful smile at Water Magician. Back to Man/Fern view as they climb to feet.]
Man: That attack leaves you too open. Keep attacking the fire one and let the rest of us distract the water one.
[Fern stares at him, raised eyebrow, but then nods and focuses back on Fire Magician. Man moves in front of her. Change to Fern back view.]
Man: I’m Nevan, by the way. Thanks for helping me out.
[Fern front view (can see Nevan’s shoulder at front of camera) to see shocked face, then determined smile.]
Fern: My pleasure.
[See her strain face again, Fire Magician front view to see him flinch in pain. Water Magician glares at her and holds out hand, sending a burst of water at her. Fern front view to see Nevan bang his pole on floor and form a rectangle shaped barrier. Fern back view to see water go either side of barrier. Asha front view as she jumps back to avoid excess water. Same action with Nat front view, who scowls at Nevan’s direction Agape front view, who doesn’t move and gets bowled over by water. Looks shocked at first, but then smiles, looking at the water drops on his hand (close side view). Water Magician front view, who frowns at Agape (brief Agape view through Water Magician’s point of view to show where he’s looking) shifts gaze as Asha stands next to Nevan in front of Fern. Nat stays back, scowling down at Agape. Water Magician front view.]
Water Magician [thoughts]: Hold on, brother.
[Water Magician drops down on knees and places hand on ground. Nevan close side view (slightly angled) who frowns, then looks alarmed. Farther away side view, as he lifts staff off ground and jabs it like a spear. Rectangle like barrier grows out of it. Point of view of barrier as it gets closer to Water Magician and hits him. Water Magician side view as he’s knocked on ground, smiling. Nevan/Asha/Fern side view as ground collapses beneath them. Bird’s eye view as they fall into darkness, startled cries. Nat front view to see shocked face.]
Nat: What the?
[Looks up at sound of Water Magician laughing. Change to Water Magician front view as he stands back up, putting a reassuring hand on Fire Magician, who’s panting and exhausted.]
Water Magician: You were right, brother; those rebels have been building tunnels.
[Wolf starts growling, Magicians look over at noise. Change to see wolf front view, standing in front of Nat. Camera pans up to see Nat’s face, who’s still looking at the hole. Back to Magicians front view, both grinning.]
Fire Magician: You, boy.
[Nat front view to look up over at them, annoyed. Back to magicians front view.]
Fire Magician: If you come with us willingly, we won’t pursue your friends. The King is eager to see you.
[Nat front view, who clenches jaw.]
Nat: I will never go to him.
[Nat father back view as he jumps in the hole, wolf barks and follows. Agape front view who looks down at the hole, bewildered. Pan out so a Magician back view, both sweatdrop.]
Water Magician: Would he even be a decent hostage when they left him behind like that?
[Magicians front view as Fire Magician shrugs. Agape front view as hear wolf howl from underground. Agape started at noise then jumps into hole.]
[Scene change as Agape (close side view) lands underground in a bunny hop position (see barrier glimmer underneath him), falls and rolls to right (farther away from screen). Very dark.]
Nat [off screen]: Took you long enough.
[Change to Nat front view who is crouched down, Fern is slumped wearily next to him (on left), tired but awake. Asha is lying on the floor (right), Nevan bent over her.]
Fern [head still bent down]: We need to get moving.
[Nevan close side view, who frowns.]
Nevan: I can’t any internal bleeding, but she’s bruised a few ribs and her head. It will take a while for me to heal.
[Back to front view, Fern looks up and over at him.]
Fern: You have medicine?
[Nevan looks up, but looks distracted.]
Nevan: I have healing magic.
Nat: We need to leave before they decide to jump down after us.
[Nevan sighs but nods, lifting Asha into his arms.]
Fern: You go in front with Asha. I’m assuming you know the way?
[Nevan front view as he nods and starts to move. Fern front view as she readies sword.]
Fern: Agape, stay behind him, then Nat, and I’ll be at the rear. That way I can block their attacks.
[Agape front view as quickly climbs to feet and follows after Nevan. Agape/Nevan far back view to see wolf coming back down the tunnel. Nat far side view (left of camera) as he stands from his crouch. The wolf stops in front of him and howls. Close Nat face side view who frowns. Fern front view who’s gazing up at hole, battle ready.]
Fern: You should get going.
Nat: Don’t be so eager. We need to follow that guy to know the way out of here, and you can’t fight two magic users at once.
[Fern scowls at him (camera right). Nat close angled side view who is looking up at hole, thoughtful.]
Nat: You can’t get to the resistance if you’re dead.
[Fern front view, who deflates a little, nodding. Far back view to see them disappear down tunnel. After few seconds see Water Magician float down, front view to see discomfort.]
Water Magician [thoughts]: Controlling the water within my own body is unpleasant and dangerous.
[Looks up, lifting a hand and concentrating again.]
Water Magician [thoughts]: We’re both drained and need rest. But if we lose they boy…No, even if that girl is dangerous, he can’t retreat now.
[Far back view to see feet of Fire Magician begin to emerge from above, scene fades to black. Heavy breathing/footsteps heard, then see front view Nevan emerge into crossroad type section of tunnel. Go to bird’s eye view to see them all enter area.]
Nevan: If we’re smart we can lose them here. Take her.
[Change to front view as Nevan passes Asha to Agape. Nevan points to right path.]
Nevan: Go that way, take the first two lefts, then five rights, and then keep going straight ahead. In about a day you’ll come to a dead end where the closest exit to Carmina is. I should catch up to you before then, but if I don’t head to Carmina and keep your heads down. Rumours about you will lead the resistance to you. In the meantime I’ll cover your tracks and lead these idiots the wrong way.
[Fern opens mouth to complain, but thinks better of it and closes it again, nodding. Nat is looking towards tunnel, thoughtful.]
Fern: Be careful.
[Tunnel front view to see them head down it. Nevan front view as he raises his pole weapon, back view to see barrier form, imprint on ground wiping away tracks. Nevan front view as he lowers weapon, letting barrier flicker and disappear. Angled close side view of Nevan as turns in opposite direction. Angled bird’s eye view as he heads down left trail, leaving his footprints visible. Scene switch to Fern & co front view, Nat suddenly stops, making Fern frown and turn around. Change to fern back view.]
Nat: You keep going. I’m not relying on some idiot to keep me alive. If they pick up our trail I want to leave a few surprises for them.
[Fern front view, looking him up and down.]
Fern: with what?
[Fern back view]
Nat: Just get going. You’ll get in the way with these dead weights.
[Fern front view, who looks conflicted for a moment then shrugs and turns around.]
Fern [back still facing camera]: Don’t take any risks.
[Hear Nat snort]
Nat: You don’t need to tell me that.
[Fern nods and starts walking again, not looking back. Change to Nat front view who watches her then turns around, heading back down tunnel. Wolf follows. Scene change back to crossroads bird’s eye view as Nat emerges from right path. Front view as he looks down at wolf.]
Nat: Are you sure about this?
[Wolf stares up at him, eyebrow raised. Nat looks away and sighs.]
Nat: This doesn’t drain you, stupid wolf. Even if we’re surrounded by earth, it isn’t a forest.
[Wolf growls, Nat swats at it while the wolf moves out of reach.]
Nat: Let’s get this over with.
[Bird’s eye view as Nat moves into centre of crossroads. Front view as he stops in front of bottom entrance (entrance the magicians will come from). Wolf stops beside him, looking at Nat expectant. Nat sighs again and closes his eyes. Face close view to see his concentration. Change to back view so can see tunnel entrance. See small roots have begun to emerge around edges. Nat front view to see he’s sweating; close up of wolf as Nat’s hand grips his fur for support. Back view to see roots rapidly spreading over entrance. Close up of roots to see them twisting and growing, tightly locking together until entrance fully sealed. Nat front view as he drops to knees, breathing heavily. Close face side view, pained look. Wolf view as grips wolf tighter. Close up of hair to see streaks are a little red. Front view of both as wolf gives a sharp bark, then lifts up head and howls. Hair close up to see it fade back to white. Nat/wolf front view as he slumps onto wolf. Wolf grunts and moves, leaving Nat collapsed on the floor, and sits nearby. Close Nat side view.]
Nat [exhausted, barely conscious]: You…better be right…about this.
[Scene change to pitch black, hear a thud and loud hiss of pain. A flash of fire as Fire Magician (side view) conjures a fireball in his palm, looking ahead of him in confusion.]
Fire Magician: A dead end?
[Water Magician comes into view behind him (left of screen) and squints at wall.]
Water Magician: this will wasn’t formed naturally.
[Fire Magician grits teeth and tilts head up at wall. Back view of both as centre of wall begins to singe. Fire Magician front view to see strained/bulging veins on face. Wall front view to show roots have blackened but still in place. Both magicians front view.]
Water Magician: This was formed by strong magic, but which one did this? Why didn’t they use it during out fight?
[Wall front view to see centre singed enough to make a small hole (fingertip sized). Both magicians front view to show Fire Magician’s skin sizzling, close up of arm to show device making skin around it boil. Water Magician front view to see him look in arm’s direction, alarmed. Both front view. Water Magician grabs at his brother’s arm, crying out in pain as he’s burnt, but doesn’t let go.]
Water Magician: Stop brother! Straining yourself will only kill you and the hole will still be too small to be useful. We have to stop.
Fire Magician: But that boy is-
Water Magician: They’ll be heading to Carmina, we’ll get him there! Please brother, stop this.
[Close front view of Fire Magician, ragged breathing. Wall front view to see hole isn’t much bigger. Fire Magician close front view to show defeated look. Both front view as Fire Magician slumps against Water Magician, device stops glowing. Water Magician is shaking/holding him reassuringly.]
Water Magician: We’ll find him brother, don’t worry.
[Scene change to Fern back view as she stops and turns around, concerned. Agape carries on for two steps then notices and comes back.]
Agape [whispering]: Is someone coming?
[Further away front view so see/feel emptiness of tunnel.]
Fern: No, there’s no one.
[Scene change to crossroads bird’s eye view, Nevan emerging from top entrance. Nevan front view as he peeks out warily, then frowns at bottom entrance (can’t see) and steps out. Nevan back view to see him staring at vine wall.]
Nevan: What the?
[See something shuffle in left corner of screen. Nevan front view as he jumps and grabs his pole off his back, battle stance. Wolf front view to see it staring at Nevan, eyebrow raised. Camera pan right to show Nat still slumped on floor. Nevan front view, who re-straps weapon and sighs.]
Nevan: If you guys were planning this you could have told me. I wasted half a day for nothing.
[Nevan side view; can see wolf/Nat at front of screen. Walks past wolf/Nat and places left hand on vine wall. Looks thoughtful, then stares down at Nat.]
Nevan: None of the rumours mentioned this.
[Close side view (Nat on left, Nevan on right) as Nevan kneels down beside Nat. Nevan front view, Nat front view.]
Nevan [thoughts]: He looks just like Earl.
[Nevan front view (further back so can see Nat on floor) as massages his hands. Has them hover above Nat’s head. Hand close view as they form a thin rectangle barrier beneath. Back to Nat/Nevan front view to see thin rectangle barrier move through Nat’s body like a scanner, following Nevan’s hands. Nat’s body shimmers green as it passes. When Nevan reaches past his feet he shakes hands, making barrier disappear, and sits back, making a little whistling/whoo noise with his mouth.]
Nevan: That should help a little.
[Further back front view to see wold get up, move around Nat and sit beside Nevan. They stare at each other, then wolfs tongue comes out, panting. Nevan smiles and gives his head a stroke. Hear Nat groan, close up of Nat’s face as eyes open, still looking tired.]
Nevan: Welcome back.
[Nevan front view as Nat scrambles into a sitting position (now Nat back view). Nevan holds out hands in position of surrender.]
Nevan: Whoa, it’s just me; the guy you saved. I came back from setting a false trail and you were collapsed on the floor. I assume you did that?
[Nevan indicates with his head to the wall (left of screen, can’t be seen). Nat front view, who says nothing, just narrows eyes at Nevan/screen. Nevan front view as he smiles and stands up, camera follows movement.]
Nevan: That would be really impressive if you hadn’t fainted.
[Nevan bends and offers out hand. Side of both as Nat slaps it away, struggling up. Camera follows so a Nat slightly angled front view. He wobbles; Nevan’s hands appear to steady him but Nat’s glare sends them away.]
Nevan: We better catch up to the others. That girl can’t fight magicians and defend two people at once.
[Side view of both as Nat snorts and starts moving, walks off screen, right at the camera.]
Nat: Trust me, she’ll be fine.
[Nat side view walking, see Nevan trot up behind him.]
Nevan: Does she know about you?
[Nat stops, frozen.]
Narrator: Some journeys lead to hidden pasts. One’s we may be yearning for.
[Brief flash of Fern. Then back to Nat.]
Narrator: Others we have desperately been trying to escape.
[Nat whirls around and grabs Nevan, face pale and shaking.]
Nat: And what exactly do you know?
[Nevan shows hands in surrender pose again, face serious.]
Nevan: I’ve met the King before, and I’ve heard the rumours about him searching for his son. Most soldiers and resistance members do.
[Nat face close view.]
Nat: Well you better tell your members to keep their mouths sh-
[Nat back view so can see Nevan.]
Nevan [joking]: Wow, you really have Earl’s temper.
[Nevan/Nat side view as Nat throws a punch at Nevan’s chest. A barrier forms, knocking Nat back; he lands on his back on floor. Nevan front view who sighs, looking serious and tired.]
Nevan: Look, I have no intention of spreading your secret around. If the King knew you were…acquainted with us, he would crush us to get to you. [Eyes narrow] But that doesn’t mean I trust you either. Even if you hate it, you are his son.
[Nat close side view, staring at the ground, anger drained away and just looking lost. Nevan front view, whose face slackens into pity. He claps his hands together and puts on enthusiastic smile. Nat back view (looking up) so can see Nevan.]
Nevan: Now, we better get moving.
Narrator: Only to be confronted with it, reminded: this is not a past you can ignore.
[Nevan helps Nat to feet. Nat won’t look at him. He turns around and starts walking. Change to Nat side view.]
Narrator: And it will become known, no matter what you do.
[Screen goes black, then opens to Water and Fire Magician above ground near hole. Side view of both (on right, water closest to screen) with the man from beginning of episode three (being ordered by Earl) on left, staring at then, face blank.]
Water Magician: If we’d continued pursuit, it would have killed us, and they’d still have escaped.
[Man holds up hand.]
Man: I don’t need to hear excuses, under the circumstances it was the sensible thing to do. Discovering the tunnels will slow the resistance’s movements, and we can guess their destination. Rest for now, I will pursue them myself.
Water Magician: Yes sir, but be careful. That girl’s power is strong; she can block minds links and disrupt our connection to our magic device.
[Man close up, grinning.]
Man: Her power won’t work on me.
[Ending credits]
[Episode preview]
Omake/extra: Mysteries explained (and general silliness)
[On screen says ‘Where the Magicians came from’]
[Scene opens to two Magicians and seven guards with a wagon/carriage. Fire Magician points at five of them.]
Fire Magician: I want you five to scout the area to the South. Report back in half an hour.
[Black screen says ‘half an hour later. Opens to magicians with carriage and two guards. Fire Magician gives an annoyed growl.]
Fire Magician: Those idiots can’t do anything right. Keep alert brother, I’m going to look for them. I’ll contact you if I need help.
[Begins walking, camera speeds past him for about a mile, where can see guards surrounding Nevan, about to start attacking.]
[Black screen, says ‘Why was Asha the only one injured in fall?’]
[Scene of Magician fight. Nevan distant front view, Fern to left, Asha further left, as ground collapses. Camera follows them as they fall, Nevan moving staff and forming a barrier beneath him and Fern. Ground side view as they land, Fern and Nevan bouncing on barrier while Asha lands further away on ground. Brief black screen then see Nat and wolf land on barrier. Another brief black screen and see Agape bounce off barrier, looking at ground in surprise.]
Agape [thoughts]: I never knew the lander’s ground could do this.
[Black screen, see Nevan as hangs head in shame.]
Nevan: Sorry about that.
[Black screen, says ‘Fern needs glasses.]
[Scene opens to Agape back view as he’s pointing at distant group of soldiers attacking someone. Man on ground while group kick/punch him, but attacks don’t seem to be connecting. Nat & co front view, watching.]
Nat: Gee, what a surprise, soldiers near Tempit.
[Fern looks up for first time and squints.]
Fern: Wait, are they beating someone?
Nat: Why are you squinting, everyone else can see it fine.
Asha [teasing]: Do you need glasses?
Nat: But she’s our best fighter! If she can’t even see properly we’re screwed!
Asha: That’s not very manly to admit.
[Through this Fern has been squinting, huffed and produced glasses from nowhere, putting them on.]
Fern: We have to help!
[Back view of group as watch her charge off. Nat/Asha sweatdrop.]
[Screen black says ‘Nat’s cool moment, ruined.]
[Scene with Nat and wolf at crossroads. Nat swats at wolf, who moves out of reach.]
Nat: Let’s just get this over with.
Can see the two Magicians watching him in the background, bemused looks on faces.]
Fire Magician: What are you doing?
[Screen goes black, says ‘the natural way’.]
[Scene of pitch black, hear a thud and a hiss of pain. A flash of fire as Fire magician (side view) conjures a fireball in his palm, looking ahead of him in confusion.]
Fire Magician: A dead end?
[Water Magician comes into view behind him (left of screen) and squints at wall.]
Water Magician: This wall wasn’t formed naturally.
[Suddenly camera whizzes to other side of wall, Nat stood up and glaring at it.]
Nat: Excuse me? That wall is a hundred per cent natural. It’s made of bloody plants you morons! I’m kind to the earth, unlike you two, setting everything on fire and forming large gaping holes in the landscape.
[Whizzes back to other side of wall as Nat rants on. Both Magicians sweatdrop.]
Fire Magician: Oh, so he’s one of those? Tyrant father and he rebels by being a hippy.
[Black screen, then red streaked hair Nat pops up on screen.]
Nat: Don’t do drugs.
[End.]
