inner being,
forced out
secrets in
enigmas.
Can they read it?
Do they want to?
Or does it speak
differently to them,
and reveal their
own selves with
words written
by another.

A floating follower
that never touches
your path,
cannot understand
footprints
and echoes,
or heaviness
and bones.
They will
never tire,
they will
never leave.

systems, trapped
to walk the paths
over and over,
and still miss
your end
destination.

I feel the world
is gone, empty,
dark,
nothing beyond
this light and
paper.

The cold and
emptiness surrounds
all,
waiting,
waiting…

out, spilling into a
cup of flavour
and reviving
someone
who is not
you.

level by level,
the structure,
the influences.
Let it seep between
the cracks and
cloud your judgement.
Change your everything
without you
even knowing.

No drive to see you through
to strive your stride
and lift your head.
No talents to distract,
offer and possibilities
are impossible and
beyond all hope.
Despair as you sit,
unable to decide,
idle your life
away as you
pray for inspiration.
The wall will not
answer.
