Fallen Wing
Episode Twenty: Malhand Battle
[Scene opens to Fern/group side view as they run through Malhand Forest. Fern side view, panting but still running hard.]
Narrator: We all have causes to fight for, ones that may seem meaningless to others. Ones that people will never understand.
[Change to front view of clearing area as group burst out and stop dead, staring at screen in horror. Change to group back view to see Nat enshrouded in black mist and Ulmar/Earl further back.]
Narrator: And ones that are so strong it changes us, and becomes all we can focus on.
[Fern front view so takes a step forward.]
Fern: Nat!
[Change to Ulmar front view who is watching her, an amused eyebrow raised.]
Narrator: So what would happen if that cause was destroyed? What would we have left?
[Opening credits.]
[Scene change to Earl’s army outside forest, a horse galloping towards them. Front view of horse as it stops and Assassin jumps off, looking around.]
Assassin: Where’s the King? I have urgent news.
[Assassin back view as soldier closest to him points into the forest. Assassin front view as he frowns and climbs back onto horse, kicking it forwards.]
[Scene change to Fern front view, slowly moving closer to Nat/screen.]
Fern: Nat, it’s okay, we’re here. You’re in your forest, remember? So please fight this.
Ulmar: It’s useless.
[Change to Fern back view, she looks past Nat sharply at Ulmar. Ulmar front view, who is standing casual, arms holded.]
Ulmar: I’ve stopped suppressing his magic, which I’ve been doing since he was a baby. He may have learnt better control, but he can’t handle the full amount of dark magic.
[Fern front view, who looks dazzed/confused.]
Fern: You…
[Ulmar front view as he straightens up and shrugs.]
Ulmar: Unless you can prove me wrong, of course.
[Close up of his piercing eyes looking at Fern/screen. Fern front view, whose expression turns determined/stubborn and takes a step forward, focusing attention back on Nat. Fern back view as she walks closer.]
Fern: Nat.
[Earl front view as he frowns, beginning to lift left hand up.]
Earl: Now, don’t go confusing him anymore.
[Arm whacks against a barrier and he scowls, redirecting gaze to his right. Camera pans over to right to see Nevan there, face serious, his staff held out vertically in front of him.]
Nevan: I think you should let him make up his own mind.
[Nevan back view to see Earl raise an eyebrow and turn to face Nevan.]
Earl: You’re Samuel’s grandson, the half breed filth. Shouldn’t your pathetic uprising be starting now?
[Earl back view so can see Nevan give a little smirk.]
Nevan: Shouldn’t you be more concerned about my grandfather’s army marching towards your city? There’s no point having an heir if you have no crown.
[Nevan back view to see Earl frown.]
Earl: Samuel would be a fool to betray me.
[Earl back view as Nevan shrugs.]
Nevan: Maybe, but it doesn’t change the facts.
[Nevan back view.]
Earl: Then I guess I need to kill you quickly.
[Attempts to raise hand again but barrier still blocking it. Close up of his right leg as it twitches. Nevan back view to see a thin, sharp string of black mist (like a needle) leave his foot and shoot towards Nevan’s face. Nevan front view as he takes a step back and swings pole so now rooted in ground in front of him. A barrier forms and the black mist collides with it, trying to break through.]
[Change to Earl head/shoulder side view (looking towards right of screen) to see one of Asha’s needles and one of Agape’s arrows moving towards his neck. Black mist suddenly rushes up to block their path, both get stuck in it as if a gooey texture.]
[Change to Asha (left)/Agape (right) front view. Asha looks weary.]
Asha [thoughts]: This isn’t good; unlike Nat he can control the very structure of his magic, and make it both a weapon and a barrier. Plus-
[Interrupted when see Ulmar dash onto the screen from right, knocking Agape backwards onto the floor and aiming sharp nails/claws at Asha. Close face view of Ulmar (slow motion) as he aims to strike, come out of slow motion when he suddenly looks alarmed and jumps back, Laurel’s chain weapon narrowly missing him.]
[Change to Laurel back view as reels weapon back in (Asha/Agape (who is getting back up) to his left, Ulmar further ahead, watching him, cautious. Laurel front view who wears a cruel grin.]
Laurel: Yes, I have a feeling this weapon is the only threat to you here.
[Ulmar close face front view as he gives a cruel grin back.]
[Change to Fern back view, still slowly approaching the mist surrounding Nat.]
Fern: Nat, forget about the wolf, you don’t need him. I know you’re strong enough to do this.
[Change to close Fern face/shoulder view (looking towards left of screen) as she gives an encouraging smile.]
Fern: What I learnt from training is…you shouldn’t be fighting against it. It’s a part of you, and you need to find a way to use it. Don’t reject it Nat, you’ll only end up struggling against it for the rest of your life. Merge it into you.
[Fern back view to see Nat in mist still. Front view of Nat/mist, then screen goes black. Nat appears in centre (bird’s eye view) curled up in ball, hair streaks red.]
Fern [echo affect]: Merge it into you.
[Nat front view as he looks up (can see eyes are bloodshot, but his face looks calm) as he frowns.]
Nat: Merge? What is she talking about? And why…she can’t really be here, didn’t they all die?
[Suddenly see Quierida materialise behind him (can only see his lower half because Nat sat down).]
Querida: Do you really believe they’d die that easily? No, they’re here Nathan, trying to save you.
[Change to Querida back view (slightly angled down so can see Nat, who’s turned head to see him). Nat gives him a bitter smile.]
Nat: Did you know? About the stupid wolf?
[Change to Nat front view as he climbs to feet and turns to face Querida (camera follows). Querida is talking while this happens.]
Querida: I knew Ulmar’s true form, naturally. As for his loyalty, that is harder to determine. Ulmar follows the path he believes is the greatest benefit, despite what his masters instruct from him. But I don’t think it was wrong to trust him with you these last sixteen years. He gave you the time needed to grow, a time it was impossible to gain control of your magic alone. Now you no longer need him.
[Querida back view as Nat scoffs.]
Nat [thoughts]: But why hasn’t he told Earl Ignatius is dead? What is he planning?
Nat: You really believe that?
Querida: Your problem, Nathan, is that you’ve spent your whole life trying to deny who your other parent is. You are both your mother’s son and your father’s son. Accept it, and figure out what you can gain from it.
[Nat huffs in annoyance and looks away.]
Nat: Sure, like it’s that easy.
[Nat front view (slightly angled, so can see Querida’s face in background) as Querida watches him, calm.]
Querida: I can’t help you with this, Nathan. I wish you luck.
[Bows head as he fades away. Nat doesn’t bother turning around.]
Nat [thoughts]: Merge and accept both? But how?
[Flash of white, see image of Ulmar.]
Ulmar [echo affect]: You’re so confident about your forest magic, but what if I stopped supressing your other magic?
[White flash, see image of Earl.]
Earl [echo affect]: True, but an earth immortal could also control this forest.
[Back to Nat view as own voice echoes in head, look of realisation on face.]
Nat [echo affect]: Your magic is strong but mine is this entire forest!
Nat: That’s it!
[Jumps to feet (camera follows).]
Nat: That stupid wolf had earth magic, which he must have used to somehow suppress my dark magic. So if I merge them can I do the same?
[Change to bird’s eye view as Nat looks up, looking lost. Closes eyes (camera moves closer so near his face), frowning in concentration.]
Nat [thoughts]: If I concentrate, I can sense the forest.
[Camera moves down towards his feet. See grass beginning to grow from the black ground, starting to wind around Nat’s legs. Back to previous view.]
Nat [thoughts]: The entire forest is my power; I control it without even realising most of the time…so if I pour it into the dark magic…
[See grass/vines now climbed up rest of his body and start wrapping up his face. Opens eyes with determined stare just before they’re wrapped up from view.]
[Scene change to Fern back view who steps back in surprise. Black mist is wrapped up in vines until completely covered. They then turn darker (like mosaic black/green mixed together) and begin to unravel. Some leave completely, while others stay loosely wrapped around Nat’s body. One vine is on his neck, stopping halfway up his left cheek. Camera starts at Nat’s feet and pans up slowly to his face to show this. His eyes are still bloodshot, but he looks aware in control. Hair streaks are red. Nat looks exhausted. Fern front view who grins widely.]
[Change to Ulmar front view, looking to front left of screen where Nat is (not visible). Ulmar smirks, but quickly snaps attention back to front of screen as Laurel’s weapon heads towards him. He dodges to left of screen, disappearing from view.]
[Change to Fern back view as Nat focuses tired gaze on her and smiles. Nat back view to see she’s still grinning and gives a little nod of approval.]
[Change to front view of left side of clearing as Assassin bursts into clearing, still riding his horse. Keeps riding through the shot. Change to Fern back view as she unsheathes sword and takes a step back. Horse comes to a stop between her and Nat, blocking them off from each other. Change to Fern front view who grits teeth in annoyance, glaring up.]
[Change to Nat front view whose eyes are beginning to droop, hair and eyes slowly returning to normal.]
Nat [thoughts]: Damnit, this is exhausting. I can’t keep this up when it took so much energy learning to control it.
[Change to horse/Assassin side view, slightly angled up looking down so can see Nat sink to his knees, hair now back to normal. Nat front view to see a rope-like black mist wrap around his waist and drag him backwards, making him cry out in surprise. Assassin/horse other side view so can see Fern.]
Fern: Nat!
[Tries to move round horse but Assassin suddenly jumps down, sword drawn, and she’s forced to raise own sword to defend herself. Change to Fern back view as Assassin grins at her.]
Assassin: I don’t think so.
[Assassin back view as Fern narrows eyes at him.]
Fern: You’re the one from the attack on Emlin Way. Why haven’t you used magic in our recent fights?
[Fern back view as the Assassin scowls at her.]
Assassin: Is that supposed to be funny? Whatever you did, I could no longer use magic, no matter which device I tried. But don’t worry, without it I have the advantage; you can’t use your trick on me now!
[Puts more pressure on his sword, forcing Fern down. Change to Assassin/Fern side view as she purposely bends one knee to make him overbalance while she steps back gracefully. Assassin falls into a forward roll and aims at her feet, which she jumps over. He swings at her feet again, forcing her to stumble backwards (off screen), giving him time to spring to feet and advance towards her.]
[Change to Nat front view, who is sat on the ground, black mist rope still around his waist. Earl is stood behind, staring down at him.]
Earl: Impressive trick Nathan, but you need to learn obedience and loyalty before I grant you a little leeway.
[Looks to right side of screen and jumps back, avoiding being enclosed in a barrier. Nat (not in barrier) struggles with rope but is soon exhausted. Change to Nat side view (facing right of screen, can see Earl view to left of screen and Nevan front view who has one hand extended and open. Change to Nevan front view as he ‘tsks’ in annoyance.]
Nevan: Don’t think you can fight me half-heartedly. Stop focusing on Nattie and get serious.
[Nevan back view as Earl glares at him. Black mist surrounds the barrier, making it disperse.]
Earl: You should be thankful, boy. My distraction is the only reason you’re still alive.
[Sends the black mist remaining shooting towards Nevan. Nevan takes a step back and raises pole up in defensive position. Barrier blocks mist but impact throws Nevan back on floor out of sight.]
[Change to front view of left side of clearing as ten of Earl’s soldiers charge into the clearing, heading towards Earl. Change to Earl back view as he turns around and nods at them. One of them comes up and grabs Nat, flinging him over his shoulder and marching back the way he came. Nevan front view as he stumbles back to feet, wincing. Earl front view as Nevan sends a growing/stretching barrier towards him (small rectangular shape that gets longer). Almost reached him when a wave of water slams into it, making it stop. See Water (twin) Magician step in front of Earl, bowing.]
Water Magician: Please leave this to me, Your Highness.
[Earl nods, Water Magician moves aside so Earl can walk off screen. Nevan front view as grits teeth in frustration and charges forward (camera follows), holding staff in both hands like a sword.]
Nevan: Earl! I won’t let you take him!
[Nevan back view to see Water Magician take a step toward him and raise right hand. Nevan stops and crosses pole in front to form a protective barrier. A wave of water hits it. Water Magician front view, face blank.]
Water Magician: I won’t let you interfere anymore, rebel leader.
[Change to Ulmar front view as he leaps back from Laurel’s weapon, followed by an arrow, which he ducks head to avoid. Laurel front view who turns head to right of screen. Change to Laurel right side view so can see he’s looking at Agape and Asha.]
Laurel: Don’t waste your arrows. You go help Fern.
[Asha nods and starts to move but then stops, staring in Ulmar’s direction. Laurel turns gaze back as well. Laurel back view (Asha and Agape move so stood on his left, also looking ahead) to see Ulmar is talking to twin Fire Magician.]
[Ulmar front view as he turns gaze to camera/group and smirks. Laurel/Asha/Agape back view as he turns and follows soldiers to clearing entrance (one of the soldiers is leading the assassin’s horse). Fire Magician turns to face them.]
Fire Magician: You will not live to see outside this forest again.
[Change to Earl side view as strolls through clearing and into forest. Ulmar catches up (on far side of screen).]
Ulmar: I’m surprised; I thought you would have finished them personally.
Earl: Something more urgent has come to my attention.
Ulmar: And the weapon piece?
Earl: Ignatius can get Firo to do it. If there’s a way to break the seal, he’ll know it.
[Ulmar remains silent, turning gaze forward (left of screen), unreadable look on face.]
[Change to Laurel (right)/Asha (middle)/Agape (left) back view as Fire Magician begins to lift right hand. Change to Laurel/Asha/Agape front view as Laurel looks alarmed.]
Laurel: Quickly, spread out!
[He jumps out of sight to (screen) left while after a moment of pause Agape does the same thing to the right. Asha gets two needles out ready. Change to slight angled Asha bird’s eye view to see a ring of fire form on ground around her, trapping her inside. She flinches a little but doesn’t move. Her eyes glance toward Laurel/left of screen. Change to Asha side view so can see Laurel beyond, facing Fire Magician with weapon out.]
Asha [thoughts]: This was a badly thought out move. Laurel should have gone to the right, aimed for a tree to climb up to use his boomerang. He’s less effective in a close and mid-range battle…in fact the same goes for Agape and me. But can we counter fire with our weapons? The others need to avoid getting caught in this fire no matter what.
[Asha front view as she starts to take a step forward, but fire around her flares up, forcing her back, raising arms defensively in front of face. Change to Fire Magician front view.]
Fire Magician: I won’t let any of you escape this time.
[Change to Agape front view, bow drawn as he lets an arrow loose. Arrow back view as it travels towards Fire Magician. A wave of fire shoots up from ground in front of him. Change to fire (right)/arrow (left) side view to see arrow disintegrate.]
[Change to Agape front view who frowns in disappointment, dashing off screen to right. Fire Magician back view so can see Agape is heading towards the trees. Fire Magician front view as he grits teeth in annoyance. Change to Agape back view as a fireball barely misses him from the right, making him cry out in surprise. See the fireball hit the trees, making some catch on fire. Agape hesitates a moment but then keeps running, aiming a little further right where trees aren’t burning yet.]
[Fire Magician front view who growls in annoyance.]
Fire Magician: I won’t let you rebel scum cause any more pain!
[Begins to form another fireball but bursts apart when he’s hit by two needles high in his left shoulder, causing him to instinctively bring right hand up to wound, putting pressure on area but avoiding touching the needles.]
[Change to Asha front view, staring straight at him/screen.]
Asha: Don’t think just because I’m trapped that I’m worthless.
[Coughs at end of sentence, wheezing a little at fumes.]
[Agape back view to see him disappear into the trees. Change to Fire Magician front view as hear alarmed voice of Water Magician in his head.]
Water Magician [echo effect]: Brother, are you okay?
[Fire Magician winces as he pulls needles out.]
Fire Magician [echo effect]: I’m fine; please don’t lose focus from your own battle, brother.
[Change to Water Magician front view as bites lip in frustration but nods. Change to back view so can see Nevan is gazing off to right of screen (where others are fighting), frowning in concern. Change to Nevan side view so can see what he’s looking at, watching the forest catching fire.]
Nevan [thoughts]: That could be a big problem.
[Nevan back view as he looks back towards Water Magician.]
Nevan: I don’t suppose you’d use your magic to put that out? It would cause everyone trouble.
[Water Magician gives him a bitter smirk.]
Water Magician: I will never help a rebel, even if it means we all burn to death here.
Nevan [sweatdrop]: Well, aren’t you stubborn.
[Water Magician brings up both hands and thrusts them out in front of him, causing a powerful spray of water to shoot towards Nevan. Nevan thrusts pole in ground in front of him and ducks. Water reaches barrier, slows a little but manages to punch a hole through it, shooting past camera.]
[Nevan front view (still crouched down) who winces and slowly stands back up. Nevan back view (once stood up) to see Water Magician already sending another shot towards him. Brief Nevan front view to show alarm, then back view as he drops to floor (dropping pole in process) and rolling to left to avoid it. Nevan front view as peeks head up and then scrambles into a crouch, see him glance over at fallen pole and wince.]
Nevan [thoughts]: Great.
[Change to Assassin/Fern side view as swords clash against each other, trying to force the other back. Both are panting but look determined. Assassin back view as she jumps back and falls into a crouch, bringing sword in a semi-circle loop to cut at Assassin’s legs. Assassin is bringing sword down towards her back but is forced to stop and jump over Fern’s sword instead. Fern front view (still crouched down) as she thrusts sword upwards towards Assassin’s throat. Fern back view to see Assassin stumble backwards out of reach, but Fern stands up and moves after him. Assassin front view as he grimaces. Fern back view (now stood up directly in front of him) to see him bring own sword to hers sideways, knocking it off its path. Close view of left hand as he pulls a dagger from belt. Assassin back view as he stabs at Fern’s stomach, she notices (eyes widen) and jumps back, so dagger only grazes her. she winces, free hand clutching at wound. Assassin front view as he grins.]
Assassin: Always falling for the same move.
[Fern front view as she glares defiantly at him.]
[Change to Fire Magician front view as he unleashes another fireball in camera’s direction. Change to Asha back view to see fireball head straight towards her. She dodges to the left, but her left arm comes in contact with fire wall. Close up of arm (back view fire wall) as this happens. Asha front view as she hisses in pain, then coughs/choking sound.]
[Fire Magician front view as he smirks, beginning to form another fireball, when suddenly see Laurel’s chain weapon heading towards him from right of screen. His eyes widen in surprise and he jumps to left of screen, but turns whilst jumping so now facing towards right of screen. Change to Fire Magician back view to see Laurel few feet away.]
Laurel: You should pay more attention to your surroundings when facing multiple opponents.
[Fire Magician front view as he sneers.]
Fire Magician: Perhaps, either way, you can’t save-
[Hear a ‘thud’ noise and see Fire Magician’s eyes widen in disbelief. Hold for a few seconds then change to Fire Magician side view (facing to right of screen) to see an arrow in his back, on his left side where heart is. Falls to the floor, eyes still open.]
[Change to Agape front view, in woods but near edge, bow still aimed at Fire Magician but clearly an arrow missing/been fired. Face blank/determined.]
[Change to Water Magician close side view as his face morphs with grief and rage. Water Magician back view (can see Nevan standing up and moving to grab his pole off ground) as he spins around (now facing camera), sheer panic on face.]
Water Magician [echo effect]: BROTHER!
[Close side view of Fire Magician lifeless on ground. Water Magician front view as screams out in grief. Nevan front view to see sympathetic wince. Water Magician front view.]
Nevan: I’m sorry for your loss, but you must see this is pointless now. Just stop; and we can all leave peacefully.
[Nevan back view as Water Magician whirls back around to face him, enraged. He sends a huge string of water at him, making Nevan dive to left side again (out of sight).]
[Change to Laurel back view, who is crouched in front of Asha (side view, face closest to right of screen) who is still wheezing a little, but flames are gone. Laurel turns head to face camera, wary. Laurel front view to see Fern/Assassin fighting in centre/middle of screen and Water Magician to top right, who turns in Fern’s/Assassin’s direction and releases a large shoot of water at them. Change to Assassin back view/Fern front view (still clutching at side). See her eyes widen, looking beyond screen. Assassin glances over shoulder to see and Fern dashes away, downwards right until off screen. Assassin turns rest of way round, his eyes widen before he’s hit by the water, flying backwards and hitting the ground hard (laid down). Hear his breath rush out of him, and see him stunned on floor.]
[Change to Asha side view/Laurel back view (but looking behind him) as Fern reaches them, crouching next to Laurel but looking at Asha. Agape has run up so now back view/bottom left of screen (to side of Asha).]
Fern: Can you move? We need to get out of his range.
[Change to Assassin front view as he struggles into a sitting position, wincing. Coughs a few times, then face begins to darken in anger. Change to back view so can see Water Magician now in front of him, face blank.]
Assassin: What do you think you’re doing? Don’t forget who brought you into this army, who gave you power!
Water Magician: And now my brother is dead [looks up into distance] because we were here.
[Change to Nevan front view, watching them (looking towards bottom left of screen) who looks alarmed, and runs off screen (bottom). Change to group view, Asha now stood up, being supported by Fern. Laurel is glancing behind him at the Water Magician/Assassin. Agape is standing, changing gaze from group to Assassin/Water Magician. See Nevan run towards them from far right of screen, frantic.]
Nevan: Everyone get as close together as possible!
[Assassin back view as Water Magician closes eyes. Close face view to see in pain, magic device beginning to burn his skin.]
Water Magician: Now, we’ll all join him.
[Assassin back view as Water Magician unleashes a large tidal wave (starts just in front of him, expanding out from hand). Assassin front view as eyes widen in fear.]
Narrator: Some pain is too great to bear.
[Assassin starts to struggle up/out of way but is engulfed by tidal wave. Screen filled with water.]
[Group back view, all facing wave but grouped together, Nevan in front.]
Narrator: Sometimes it’s not your own, but it reaches you, suffocating any hope for life.
[Group front view as they all look worried. Nevan rams pole into ground. Screen goes black.]
Narrator: Dragging you into the abyss.
[Ending credits.]
[Episode preview.]
Omake/extra: The twin’s past
[Screen black, a chibi Asha ‘pops’ onto the screen.]
Asha: Hello, I’m here to explain the twin magician’s past. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough time to reveal it in the main story.
[Background becomes a profile picture of the two, Fire Magician on left, Water Magician on right.]
Asha: Their names are Bowen and Carmin. They were born in Anu, where their lives were peaceful, despite Earl’s oppressive rule. Their father and mother ran a dried food shop, food which made good rations for soldiers or journeys.
Not long after Cedron was executed, and while Nevan was still too young to take full control of the resistance, there was an attack on Anu. The twins were the same age as Nevan.
The resistance planned to gain control of the town to use as a closer, more trusted base to Tempit. They managed to wrestle control for a while, but the citizens suffered. Some were caught in the crossfire, while others were killed later.
Earl sent soldiers to recapture the town, which they did using overwhelming numbers. But the soldiers were suspicious of the citizens after. They executed anyone who’d obeyed or aided the resistance. The twin’s parents had sold supplies to them, and so they died.
For years after, Bowen and Carmin wandered, filled with rage at the resistance who caused their family’s end. Three years ago, they encountered Earl’s right hand man and assassin, Mace, who had just recovered from the fight in Emlin Way. Seeing their rage, he offered them the power to help crush the resistance. They joined Earl’s army and were given the magical devices.
Carmin was the older of the two, and swore to always protect his remaining family, his brother. When that was no longer possible, he gave up all hope.
[Asha bows and pops off screen.]
[Screen black, title reads ‘Nat’s issues’.]
[Querida back view. Nat huffs in annoyance and looks away.]
Nat: Sure, like it’s that easy.
[Nat front view (slightly angled, so can see Querida’s face in background) as Querida watches him, sighing in annoyance.]
Querida: Seriously, would you get over your daddy issues already? Your out of control power kills people! And all because you can’t cope with your father causing your mother’s death. Get over it.
[Nat looks at him, shocked, then angry.]
Nat: W-what the hell? Who would get over that!
[Screen black, title reads ‘Nat’s homeless’.]
[Change to Nevan side view so can see what he’s looking at, watching the forest catching fire.]
Nevan [sweatdrop]: I don’t think you get it, this is Nat’s home. Do you really want to suffer his hissy fit if we let his forest burn down?
[Water Magician pauses, looking unsure.]
Water Magician: H-he can’t be worse than Earl.
Nevan [sigh]: I wouldn’t be so sure. He is his son.
Water Magician: …Good point, you back me up.
[Nevan gives him the thumbs up.]
Nevan: Sure thing!
[Screen black, title reads ‘group hug’.]
[Change to Nevan front view watching them (looking towards bottom left of screen) who looks alarmed and runs off screen (bottom). Change to group view, Asha now stood up, being supported by Fern. Laurel is glancing behind him at the Water Magician/Assassin. Agape is standing, changing gaze from group to Assassin/Water Magician. Nevan runs towards them from far right of screen, frantic.]
Nevan: Everyone get as close together as possible!
[Change to bird’s eye view of group as Nevan runs to them, arms spread. They all spread arms, and hug each other in a tight circle.]
All: Group hug!
[End.]
