We’re having a heatwave in the UK and my brain is too fried for poetry writing. Been packing though, off to Cornwall tomorrow until Friday, so expect some poems inspired by the beautiful landscape 😊

As you can probably guess from my last poem I have covid. I’m still allowed to go to work so I’m plodding on, but it has left my brain very muddled and I can’t really think of anything to write for today.

I’m currently suffering with the flu so no writing today. I’m hoping to get something out for tomorrow but if not I’ll post a quick rambling thought/ update instead.

My assessment has been handed in! So I’ll be able to update regularly again. They’ll be a lot on poetry and music, because it will probably be the focus of my dissertation next year. Sorry for the lack of activity lately. I’m back at work full-time (yay!) and have another assessment due on 21st April. I have a lot of music and poetry links/ideas to post, and a few poem ideas. Quick update

So, I’m finally off furlough and back at work! It’s a bit exhausting at the moment, but I’m hoping once I’ve settled back into the routine I’ll be writing new stuff.
